this one goes out to my hero elliott smith and our mutual dependence on chemicals. inspired last year by joe rogan and his annual sober october with his friends, i thought it would be cool to re-record and release this song because his friends couldn't stay sober for 2020, which is the same boat i'm in myself. it's not easy to be dependent on a substance because there's an internal war of wanting to quit but not having the will-power and just repeating the cycle over and over. it's okay to be fucked up this year. we're all going through some heavy shit. cheers.
